Van dadaïsme tot concrete poëzie. Concrete Poetry gebruikt de fonetische, visuele en akoestische aspecten van taal als literair middel. Het representeert zichzelf.

Met teksten van Kurt Schwitters, Velemir Chlebnikow, Jorge Luis Borges, Ernst Jandl, Oskar Pastior, Eugen Gomringer, Gerhard Rühm, Franz Mon, Nora Gomringer en anderen. De performance vindt plaats in de tentoonstelling de/cipher en verwijst ernaar.

Timo Berndt studeerde aan de Universiteit voor Muziek en Podiumkunsten in Hamburg. Hij was verbonden aan Staatstheaters in Kassel, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, aan het Theatre National du Luxembourg en aan het Schauspiel Bonn. Hij presenteerde zelfgeschreven literaire programma’s in het kader van kunsttentoonstellingen en concerten, maakte de brieven van Beethoven hoorbaar en voerde literaire interventies uit in de openbare ruimte.

About Timo Berndt
Timo Berndt studied at the university of music and performing arts in Hamburg. He was engaged at State Theatres in Kassel, Karlsruhe,Frankfurt, Darmstadt, at the Theatre National du Luxembourg and at the Schauspiel Bonn. He has presented literary programs written by himself in the context of art exhibitions and concerts, made Beethoven`s letters audible and carried out literary interventions in public space. Timo Berndt lives and works in Bonn and Greece.
